High Speed Flock Manufacturing System

Using robotic adhesive application and UV-Curing, this system automatically assembles, vision inspects, leak tests and packages dual chamber plastic bottles at a rate of 60 parts per minute. The components are fed with 4 vibratory feeders, escaped into a 6-up configuration, and transferred with two 60" diameter indexing dials.

The process involves applying a layer of adhesive to the tip. Then using very high voltage, the flock fibers are propelled and speared perpendicularly into the adhesive.  The adhesive is then cured and the flock is permanently bonded to the tip.

These tips are then fed into an assembly machine which installs the tips into the wand.  The wand is then installed to the cap.
